Simply steamed cinnamon apple

So we all get those little urges for something sweet that won't leave us feeling sugared up or guilty about indulging our sweet tooth. 
Apples are a great go-to option because they are so versatile, packed with fiber and vitamins. 

I've been experimenting a bit with this 'super fruit' and honestly one of the things I love most, is that it is so good on its own. Remember that food can be simple and sometimes a clean treat is what your body really needs. 
Although many of my dancers or clients have heard me say that, from a nutrition perspective, fruit is best eaten at the start of the day, I have to say it does make a great after dinner delight. 

All you need is...
1 Apple
1 tsp cinnamon
1 TBS raw nut butter

Chop the apple up into segments, sprinkle with the cinnamon and pop it into the microwave for 2-3 mins or bake at 180•C for 10 mins until soft and juicy.

Dip the hot sweet segments into the nut butter & enjoy.
